I remember sitting on the couch in tears—again. Sick, tired, gaining weight, and wondering why I couldn’t seem to feel better no matter what I tried. I was exhausted from decades of chasing quick fixes, pushing through fatigue, and pretending everything was fine.

For over 30 years, I struggled with infertility, grief, depression, Hashimoto’s thyroid disease, asthma, and the endless cycle of deprivation diets that may have left me thinner—but never healthier. My body was breaking down, my doctors were mentioning words like insulin resistance, arthritis, and fatty liver disease, and I truly believed this was just how midlife was going to feel.

But deep down, I knew there had to be a better way.
